The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) shared a video regarding the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) on its social media account ahead of the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Ankara.
The ministry's post drew attention to the TSK's position within NATO and its deterrence capacity. The statement described the Turkish Armed Forces as "NATO's second-largest army and one of the world's most effective and deterrent military forces."
The MSB included the following assessment in its statement:
Our heroic Turkish Armed Forces, which fight with an unwavering will for the defense and security of our country, drawing inspiration from its glorious history; as NATO's second-largest army and one of the world's most effective and deterrent military forces, with its deep-rooted past, high combat power, and modern facilities and capabilities, is one of the strongest guarantors not only of our country but also of regional and global security.
