Ministry of National Defense to bring those who fell ill during Hajj to Turkey via C-130
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that an aircraft belonging to the Air Force Command has been tasked with transporting 13 Turkish citizens receiving treatment in intensive care units in the Saudi Arabian cities of Mecca and Jeddah, along with 6 companions, to hospitals in Ankara.
In a statement from the ministry, it was stated, "A C-130 aircraft belonging to our Air Force Command has been tasked with transporting 13 of our citizens currently in intensive care units in the Saudi Arabian cities of Mecca and Jeddah, along with their 6 companions, to hospitals in Ankara. We wish our citizens a speedy recovery."
The 13 individuals who experienced health problems while performing their Hajj pilgrimage are being brought to Ankara tonight, accompanied by a 10-person medical team assigned by the Ministry of Health, which includes specialist physicians.
Following the return operation, which will be carried out with a special aircraft belonging to the MSB, the treatment of our citizens who performed the Hajj pilgrimage will continue in Ankara.
