Ministry of National Defense to hire 1,000 contract personnel

The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) will hire 1,000 contract personnel for the General Staff, force commands, and the National Defense University (MSÜ).

According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, applications will be made online using an e-Government password via the Ministry's "http://personeltemin.msb.gov.tr" website until 23:59 on December 28.

Preliminary applications made via methods other than the internet, such as petitions, letters, or mail, will not be accepted, and no responses will be provided to such applications.

Candidates will also upload the documents requested during the application process to the system via the same website. Applications from candidates who do not upload their documents to the system, or who upload illegible or incomplete documents, will not be accepted.

Candidates who completed their education abroad will be required to upload their Higher Education Council-approved equivalence certificates, while candidates applying for titles requiring a secondary education degree must upload their diplomas specifying their field and branch through the "Add Education Information" screen.

Candidates will be required to meet the conditions specified in the Civil Servants Law No. 657.

Candidates must have received a score from the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) conducted this year by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and must meet the educational requirements stated in the application guide by the date of the exam.

The date and location of the interview for candidates eligible to take the exam will be published on the "http://personeltemin.msb.gov.tr" website and announced via the ministry's social media accounts. The exam results will also be published at the same web address, and no separate documents will be sent to candidates.

After being called for the exams, candidates will pay an exam fee of 200 liras via the internet/mobile banking applications or ATMs of T.C. Vakıflar Bankası on the dates to be specified in the announcement.

Candidates who are successful in the interview must obtain a health report from a full-fledged state hospital stating that they "do not have a mental illness that would prevent them from performing their duties continuously," in accordance with the Regulation on Exams to be Held for Those to be Appointed as Civil Servants for the First Time to the Ministry of National Defense.

Candidates will be required to deliver the report they receive to the Ministry of National Defense, General Directorate of Personnel, Personnel Procurement Department, either in person or by mail, within 30 days from the date the exam results are published.
