Ministry of National Education announces number of opinions submitted for new curriculum draft
A total of 67,284 opinions and suggestions were submitted regarding the "Turkey Century Education Model" new curriculum draft, which the Ministry of National Education (MEB) presented for public opinion between April 26 and May 10.
The "Turkey Century Education Model" new curriculum draft for courses at all grade levels was made available for public review by the Ministry of National Education between April 26 and May 10.
The new curriculum draft, which was opened for public opinion on April 26 with an initial review period of one week, was kept open in the system until May 10 due to the continued arrival of opinions and suggestions.
During the review period, 67,284 opinions were submitted regarding the curriculum draft, which Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin had invited all education stakeholders to contribute to, and the draft was downloaded 1 million 662 thousand 780 times.
All opinions and suggestions submitted regarding the new curriculum draft will be evaluated by the Ministry of National Education's Board of Education and Discipline.
Following the completion of these processes, the new curriculum, which will reach its final form, will be implemented gradually starting from the 2024-2025 academic year in preschool, the first grade of primary school, the fifth grade of middle school, and the ninth grade of high school.
