Ministry of Transport announces: Bosphorus Bridge to close for 1 day

According to a post on the official X account of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the "59th International Presidential Cycling Tour 8th Stage" will be held on Sunday, April 28, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.

The post provided information that the 15 July Martyrs Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic during certain hours.

The post stated that due to the 59th International Presidential Cycling Tour 8th Stage, the 15 July Martyrs Bridge will be closed to vehicle access in the Europe-to-Anatolia direction, estimated between 11:00 and 11:45, and in the Anatolia-to-Europe direction between 12:30 and 13:15.

The Ministry's post is as follows:

"Due to the '59th International Presidential Cycling Tour 8th Stage' to be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, the 15 July Martyrs Bridge;

will be closed to vehicle traffic in the Europe-to-Anatolia direction, estimated between 11:00-11:45

and in the Anatolia-to-Europe direction between 12:30-13:15"
