Ministry of Treasury and Finance to undertake domestic borrowing

The Ministry has announced its domestic borrowing strategy for the upcoming 3-month period.

Accordingly, the Treasury will undertake 791.2 billion liras in domestic borrowing against 692.6 billion liras in domestic debt service during the period in question.

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance will undertake 329.5 billion liras in domestic borrowing in April, 174.9 billion liras in May, and 286.8 billion liras in June.

In the Ministry's domestic borrowing strategy for the next three months, it is projected that 329.5 billion liras will be borrowed against 293.3 billion liras in domestic debt service in April, 174.9 billion liras against 149.9 billion liras in domestic debt service in May, and 286.8 billion liras against 249.4 billion liras in domestic debt service in June.

It is expected that in April, 232.1 billion liras of domestic borrowing will come from the market, 28.4 billion liras from direct sales, and 69 billion liras from sales to the public; in May, 170.2 billion liras from the market and 4.7 billion liras from sales to the public; and in June, 267.4 billion liras from the market, 6.3 billion liras from direct sales, and 13.1 billion liras from sales to the public.

During this period, 10 bond auctions will be held, 2 lease certificates will be sold directly, and 1 treasury bill will be issued.

Payments of 317.6 billion liras in April, 179.2 billion liras in May, and 304 billion liras in June will be made. Of these payments, 108.1 billion liras will consist of external debt service.
