Mısra Öz's 'Narin' response to Erdoğan: 'He gave the same promise for my son too'
Mısra Öz, who lost her 9-year-old son Oğuz Arda Sel in the Çorlu train massacre, responded to the post made by President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the death of Narin.
The body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in Diyarbakır after attending a Quran course on August 21, was found 19 days later inside a sack in the Eğertutmaz Stream, covered with stones and tree branches.
As part of the investigation, 24 people were taken into custody, including Narin's mother Yüksel Güran, her father Arif Güran, two older brothers, three uncles, and the wife of her uncle Salim Güran, the village headman who was arrested on September 2 for 'intentional killing'.
RESPONSE FROM MISRA ÖZ TO ERDOĞAN
While Narin's death caused public outrage, President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, "We will ensure that those who murdered Narin are held accountable before justice. I want it to be known that I will personally follow the judicial process to ensure that those who tore our child Narin away from us receive the harshest punishment they deserve."
Mısra Öz, who lost her 9-year-old son Oğuz Arda Sel in the Çorlu train disaster and against whom an indictment was recently prepared by the Çorlu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for the crime of "insulting a public official due to their duty," responded to Erdoğan's post. In her post, Öz stated, "He gave the same promise for my son too, Mr. President..."
