The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) neutralized Zehra Sebat and Serhat Erdoğan, who were among the 'so-called' leaders of the PKK, in an operation in the Hakurk region of Iraq. It was learned that the two terrorists were preparing for an attack against the Turkish Armed Forces.
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) neutralized Zehra Sebat, codenamed Rojda Azad, and Serhat Erdoğan, codenamed Çirav Cudi, who were among the 'so-called' leaders of the terrorist organization PKK/KCK, in an operation conducted in the Hakurk region of northern Iraq.
Thanks to MIT's intelligence network, it was determined that the two terrorists were preparing for an attack against the Turkish Armed Forces and were receiving weapons training for this purpose. As a result of technical and field work, the location of the terrorists was identified, and a precision operation was carried out.
Sebat and Erdoğan, who had outstanding arrest warrants for terrorism-related crimes, were neutralized as a result of the operation. It was stated that MIT's precision operations in the region will continue.
