Gülsün Silgir, the so-called youth leader of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, was neutralized in an operation conducted by the MIT in Sulaymaniyah.
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Gülsün Silgir, the so-called leader of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization's youth wing, in Sulaymaniyah, northern Iraq.
According to information obtained from security sources, the MIT determined that Gülsün Silgir, codenamed Sara Hogir Riha, who was within the so-called youth structure of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, was located in the Penjwen district of the Sulaymaniyah countryside in Iraq.
The terrorist Silgir was neutralized in northern Iraq's Sulaymaniyah through an operation by the MIT.
It was determined that Silgir, who was involved in the terrorist organization's so-called youth movement, had participated in activities since 2011 and organized efforts to recruit youth into the organization by deceiving them, had been operating in the Sulaymaniyah countryside since 2021.
