According to information obtained from security sources, MIT determined that the terrorist Aksu, codenamed Şevger Çiya, had issued instructions for terrorist acts against security forces within the country, as well as in Syria and Iraq.
Terrorist Aksu, who was supplying weapons and ammunition to organization members preparing for attacks in the Claw-Lock operation zone, was neutralized in Gara along with the terrorists accompanying him.
It was learned that the terrorist, who had been identified as being involved in the organization since 1998, was operating as a so-called leader of the organization in Iraq.
