MIT operation in northern Iraq: 2 PKK terrorists neutralized
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized PKK/KCK terrorists Hadice Kaya, codenamed Nujiyan İsyan, and Heva Kivelçek, codenamed Diljin Azadi, who were preparing an attack on the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) operation zone in Hakurk, northern Iraq.
According to information obtained, MIT determined that terrorist Hadice Kaya, codenamed Nujiyan İsyan, and Syrian national Heva Kivelçek, codenamed Diljin Azadi, were carrying notes containing instructions from organization leaders for an action against the TSK operation zone in Hakurk. Following this, the two terrorists were placed under surveillance by MIT.
Thanks to MIT's agents within the organization, it was learned that the two terrorists would move during the night to convey instructions from the organization's senior management. Following the surveillance, a decision was made by MIT to conduct an operation against the terrorists.
The 2 terrorists were neutralized in a pinpoint operation. It was determined that terrorists Hadice Kaya and Heva Kivelçek had joined the terrorist organization in 2015 and had been involved in terrorist activities in Gara, Avaşin, and Hakurk in northern Iraq.
