Operation by MIT: PKK's money laundering chief neutralized

MIT's cross-border operations against the PKK/KCK terrorist organization continue.

According to information obtained, MIT's efforts to track the activities of PKK/KCK members revealed that Yadin Bulut, codenamed Rızgar Suvar, joined the PKK/KCK rural cadres in 2015 following judicial proceedings against him for drug trafficking within Turkey. He was known to have operated in Qandil until the end of 2016, was appointed as the head of the organization's so-called Palu Expansion Group in 2017, and served as the so-called customs officer in the Hakurk-Avaşin regions in 2018. It was learned that he was currently managing the organization's drug trafficking and money laundering operations.

MIT personnel decided to neutralize Yadin Bulut, codenamed Rızgar Suvar, in order to strike a blow against the drug trafficking and money laundering activities that are among the primary sources of income for the PKK/KCK.

Following the decision to conduct the operation, MIT identified the location of Yadin Bulut, codenamed Rızgar Suvar, who was responsible for the organization's drug trafficking and money laundering activities, through its extensive intelligence network and field agents in northern Iraq.

Upon learning from field agents that Yadin Bulut, codenamed Rızgar Suvar, was on the move for a drug shipment, he was neutralized in a precision operation.

Security experts interpreted the neutralization of Yadin Bulut, codenamed Rızgar Suvar, as a blow to the financial pillar of the PKK/KCK. MIT, which strikes the separatist terrorist organization in every field, signaled that it would continue its operations in Iraq and Syria in the coming period within the framework of its policy of destroying terrorism at its source.
