Monthly Instagram earnings of detained 'Fidan Hoca' revealed: She has over 12 thousand subscribers!

Social media user Fidan Atalay, known to the public as "Fidan Hoca," was taken into custody in İzmir as part of an investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that an ex officio investigation was launched on the grounds that the posts, videos, and photo content shared on the Instagram account with the handle "fidannatalay" constitute the crime of "obscenity" as defined in Article 226 of the Turkish Penal Code.

The statement noted that Atalay's generation of income through this method is also being evaluated under the scope of the crime of "laundering of assets derived from crime," which is covered in Article 282 of the Turkish Penal Code. Atalay's social media income has also been placed under scrutiny as part of the investigation. Based on calculations made using the monthly subscription fee of 79.99 TL, it was learned that Atalay earns approximately 1 million TL per month from Instagram subscriptions alone. It was stated that Atalay, who has 701 thousand followers on Instagram, has more than 12 thousand 100 paid subscribers.
