Mossad agent's secret partner identified

Recently, agent Ersin Tumlucalı was arrested after it was determined that he was working for the Israeli Intelligence Service MOSSAD. 

The general manager of the company was Ahmet Ersin Tumlucalı. However, the true secret boss was Matthias Willenbrink, who introduced himself at times as a consultant and at other times as an investor.

All information was sent to Tumlucalı by Willenbrink via an application called 'Protonmail'. The company's German address was the village of Zernsdorf, which has a population of approximately 4,500 and is part of the city of Königs Wusterhausen.

Willenbrink was also in cooperation with İsmail Yetimoğlu, the founding president of the Private Detectives Association, who was detained in Istanbul last year on charges of tracking Palestinians and reporting to MOSSAD.

Willenbrink, who is also among the deans of an international private detective school, was giving detective lessons to students from all over the world.

INTRODUCED TO MOSSAD AGENT CODENAMED "JORG"

The company began its first espionage activities in 2011. Allegedly, Matthias Willenbrink, who lives in Germany, first introduced his secret partner to a Mossad agent codenamed "Jorg," who worked for a lawyer in Belgium.

Willenbrink stepped aside after the introduction. The pair continued their meetings via email and Skype. The Mossad agent codenamed Jorg later introduced Tumlucalı to another agent named "Gavin".

SECRET PARTNER

Although Tumlucalı introduced himself to those around him as a retiree who had returned to Turkey permanently from Germany, he founded a company called Axom International Research and Consultancy Services in an apartment in Kadıköy, Istanbul, on January 25, 2010.

The company's partner was Matthias Willenbrink, who also served as the president of the World Association of Detectives.

Although the company appeared to provide insurance services, its scope of activities included not only investment market research but also all kinds of research, examination, and reporting upon the request of businesses, banks, or other domestic and foreign real or legal persons.

ESPIONAGE ACTIVITY BEGAN 

Tumlucalı traveled to Frankfurt, Germany, on February 1, 2017, and met with Gavin at a Chinese restaurant. Tumlucalı was asked to track a Georgian citizen.

Ahmet Ersin Tumlucalı set off as if going to Georgia for a vacation, taking his wife Benan Tumlucalı, stepdaughter Dila Sultan Şimşek, son Erkan Tumlucalı, and sister-in-law Berna Çetin with him. The spy family stayed at the same hotel as the person they were asked to track. Footage of the individual gambling at a casino was provided to Mossad.

RECEIVED 300 THOUSAND EUROS

Mossad sent payments for the espionage activities through the company's secret partner, Matthias Willenbrink. Between 2011 and 2014, payments were transferred to the bank account of the Axom International Research and Consultancy Services company, while payments between 2014 and 2019 were transferred to the bank accounts of Ahmet Ersin Tumlucalı's wife, Benan Tumlucalı. A total of 300 thousand Euros was transferred to the company and Benan Tumlucalı's accounts for espionage activities.

Six members of the espionage network, led by insurance company owner Ahmet Ersin Tumlucalı, were arrested and sent to prison on charges of "obtaining information that should remain confidential for the state for the purpose of political or military espionage."
