Mossad Chief was in Qatar: Israel-Hamas negotiations reach a 'deadlock'

It has been stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recalled the Mossad Chief to Israel because the indirect negotiations with Hamas in Qatar have reached a deadlock.

In a written statement from the Prime Minister's Press Office, it was noted that the indirect negotiations with Hamas in the Qatari capital, Doha, have "reached a deadlock."

Following this, it was stated that Netanyahu requested Mossad Chief Barnea and his team to return to Israel.

The statement alleged that Hamas failed to fulfill the part of the agreement regarding the release of all Israeli women and children held hostage.

Reports in the Israeli press had noted that a delegation from Mossad was in Doha to discuss with Qatari officials the resumption of the "humanitarian pause" that began in Gaza on November 24 and ended yesterday.
