Mother stranded by snow in Kayseri gives birth in patrol car
A pregnant woman who was stranded due to heavy snowfall and blizzards in the Bünyan district of Kayseri gave birth in the vehicle of the gendarmerie teams that came to rescue her.
According to a written statement from the Kayseri Governor's Office, the vehicle carrying pregnant D.Ş. and her relatives, who had set out from Yünören Neighborhood to go to the hospital for delivery, became stranded in Elbaşı Neighborhood due to heavy snowfall and blizzards.

Upon the report by the pregnant woman's relative N.Ş., teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command were dispatched to the region.

D.Ş., who was placed in the gendarmerie vehicle to be transported to an ambulance, gave birth in the vehicle a short while later. It was reported that the pregnant woman gave birth to a baby boy.

It was learned that the mother and her baby, who were later handed over to medical teams, are in good health.
