Motorcycle couriers shut down engines for Ata Emre Akman
In Bursa, motorcycle couriers protested the death of university student Ata Emre Akman, who worked as a courier in Balıkesir and was killed in a knife attack after delivering an order, by shutting down their engines.
Ata Emre Akman, who worked as a courier at a restaurant in Balıkesir, was stabbed to death by E.Ö., who blocked his path.
Following the murder of their fellow courier, 250 motorcycle couriers gathered in the Fatih Sultan Mehmet neighborhood of Bursa's Nilüfer district and protested the incident by shutting down their engines.
The 250 motorcycle couriers who came together attached photos of the murdered young man to their vehicles. The protest ended after slogans were chanted.
