Motorcycle-riding attackers open fire! 17-year-old Ege killed, his friend critically injured

According to eyewitness accounts of the incident that took place yesterday evening in the Karadolap neighborhood of Eyüpsultan, four people arrived at the park on two motorcycles with their faces masked. It is alleged that the four individuals began firing their weapons in succession at Ege Yenihayat and his friend, who were sitting in the park. In the park where the terror unfolded, Ege Yenihayat and his friend collapsed to the ground covered in blood.

ONE DEAD, THE OTHER CRITICALLY INJURED

The motorcycle-riding attackers fled the scene shortly after. Police and medical personnel were immediately notified regarding the incident, which was witnessed by those in the vicinity. Despite all medical interventions, Ege Yenihayat, who was rushed to the hospital, lost his life. His friend remains in the hospital under treatment in critical condition.

ALLEGATIONS OF FEUD BETWEEN YOUTHS

Following the incident, teams from the Homicide Bureau and the Eyüpsultan District Police Department launched an investigation. Statements were taken from eyewitnesses. Security camera footage from the area is being examined. The police have also begun investigating claims that a feud had occurred some time ago between the victim, Ege Yenihayat, and youths from a neighboring district. Police efforts to apprehend the attackers are ongoing.
