'Motovlogcu Dayı' dies in accident in Dikili
Cumhur Kahriman, known for his motorcycle and traffic safety videos, died in an accident after his motorcycle rear-ended a semi-truck on the İzmir-Çanakkale highway.
Social media content creator Cumhur Kahriman, known as "Motovlogcu Dayı" (Motorcycle Vlogger Uncle), has lost his life in a motorcycle accident in the Dikili district of İzmir. The 46-year-old Kahriman, known for his videos on motorcycles and traffic safety, rear-ended a semi-truck traveling in front of him.
The accident occurred yesterday at approximately 20:30 in the Makaron Farm area of the Kıratlı neighborhood on the İzmir-Çanakkale highway in the Dikili district. The motorcycle with license plate 34 GMM 853, operated by Kahriman and traveling from İzmir toward Çanakkale, struck a semi-truck whose license plate has not yet been identified.
Passing drivers reported the incident after Kahriman was thrown onto the road by the impact. Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Medical teams confirmed that Cumhur Kahriman had passed away. Following the gendarmerie's investigation at the scene, Kahriman's body was transported to the Dikili State Hospital morgue.
Gendarmerie teams are continuing their efforts to identify the license plate of the semi-truck, which reportedly did not stop and continued on its way after the accident, and to apprehend the driver.
