Mufti who abused 12-year-old child arrested

In Eskişehir, Beylikova District Mufti İshak Yıldırım has been arrested after being detained on allegations of sending sexually explicit messages to a 12-year-old female student, identified as N.A., whose religious studies class he taught.

REPORTED TO HAVE SENT SEXUALLY EXPLICIT MESSAGES TO HIS STUDENT

It is alleged that Beylikova District Mufti İshak Yıldırım sent sexually explicit messages to his student, N.A., at the Seyitgazi Imam Hatip Secondary School, where he taught religious studies.

REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE

After N.A. explained the situation, her family filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office. Yıldırım, who was detained as part of the investigation launched by the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was referred to the courthouse following his processing. After being questioned by the prosecutor, İshak Yıldırım was brought before the Criminal Judgeship of Peace and released under judicial control.

THE IMAM HAS BEEN ARRESTED

Upon the objection of the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to the decision, an arrest warrant was issued for Yıldırım. İshak Yıldırım was detained once again, and after being processed at the courthouse, he was arrested and sent to prison.
