Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Advertising Inc. Board Chairman detained: On allegations of 'qualified sexual harassment'

D.Ç., a student at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, contacted L.A., the Chairman of the Board of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Advertising Inc., via social media regarding a job application.

After L.A. sent inappropriate messages to the student during their correspondence, D.Ç. filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office.

Acting on the instructions of the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, police teams apprehended and detained L.A. in the Menteşe district.

The teams also initiated search operations at the suspect's residences in Menteşe, Bodrum, and İzmir.

A statement issued by the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality stated the following:

"The judicial process regarding MUBRAŞ Board Chairman L.A., who was detained as part of an investigation conducted by the Muğla Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is ongoing. Necessary information will be provided once the judicial process is clarified."
