Muharrem İnce issues statement on 'Chairmanship candidacy': I have no such efforts
Following Özgür Özel's decision to leave the CHP and continue his political journey with the NEW Party, many deputies resigned from the CHP and chose to act alongside Özgür Özel. Amid these developments, the name of Muharrem İnce, who chose to remain in the CHP, began to be mentioned for the CHP Chairmanship. İnce has issued a statement regarding these rumors.
Discussions continue within the Republican People's Party (CHP), which is experiencing a period of crisis and division following the absolute nullity decision.
While deputies led by Özgür Özel left the party to establish the New Party, the debate over the Chairmanship candidacy has reignited within the CHP.
It has been alleged that CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Oğuz Kaan Salıcı, and Muharrem İnce will be candidates for the chairmanship at the party convention.
