Journalist Murat Ağırel, who has been reporting on betting allegations in football, shared a threat he received on social media. In a post made by a social media account using the username 'Solo il gala', Ağırel and his children's photos were shared alongside a threat.

Ağırel quoted this post and said, 'find these scoundrels.' Ağırel's post is as follows:

"I am calling out to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Istanbul Police Department's CyberCrimes Unit:

I am not asking for help as a journalist,but as a father.

I have filed criminal complaints regarding theseand similar accounts. I have submitted the informationof the individuals and accounts I could identify to the prosecutor's office through official applications.

However, those who have been unable to intimidate mefor two years; despite this,even childrento rapewillsaying that theywho have stooped so low as to say they will rape my children, who identify themselves as "Galatasarayfans" and hide behind anonymous accounts; I demand that these scoundrels be found.

These individuals have WhatsApp groups and Telegram channels, and from there, they organize in a way thatare being directed. These threats cannot be ignored. This situation is an open and serious crime.

To those cowardly broadcasters who, without reading, listening, or knowing—and even while knowing—target me in their broadcasts for the sake of views, I say this:I am addressing these cowardly broadcasters:

I will surely find this scoundrel.

However, because you target journalists just for the sake of views and to suck up to your advertisers,I have experienced this situationmany times.

I do not forgive you. Pull yourselves together now. Know your place. I am warning you for the last time.

Now youwill come out and make insincerestatements like 'we condemn this, blah blah'.do not make statements. What has happened is a direct result of you personally targeting me withfalse and misleading information.
