In a post on his social media account, Emir stated, "Our appeals against the house arrest sentence given to our colleague Gökhan Gülyurt, who was driving our party bus carrying our members of parliament on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, have been accepted. The house arrest sentence for our friend Gökhan has been lifted and his electronic monitoring tag has been removed."
