Reminding that the civil servants who allegedly made inquiries regarding Gürlek's assets were detained, Emir said, "Accessing Murat Emir's assets is not a crime. Look, Yeni Şafak is here too. Yeni Şafak ran a headline yesterday: 'We accessed Murat Emir's assets.' You accessed them, but I wish you had written the truth, I wish you hadn't written lies. Here is the truth. I explained them one by one yesterday, and I am here today as well," he said. Emir showed the properties registered in his name from the land registry inquiry page he opened on the tablet he brought to the press conference.

Journalists examined Emir's real estate

At the end of the press conference, Emir said he would leave the tablet in the hall for journalists to examine and said, "I will leave this here, it is also open in my office. Look here, take it, work on it, come to my office, look at it while you drink your tea. All of the real estate in the title deed registered in my name is here. I even hear that, in the evening, since they can't find anything to say, this pro-government media looks and says: 'How can there be a plot of over 4000 square meters in Ankara Dikmen? He couldn't do it even if he performed surgeries from morning to night, he clearly stole it,' those scoundrels know that this is the total size of the parcel there, but they pretend not to know. They look at a housing complex: 'He might have dozens of apartments in the complex. Look, there are 80 apartments here, 16 blocks,' they say. The apartment there is the one I acquired in 2005, bought with a loan, and still live in; it is just one apartment. CHP's Emir expressed the following regarding questions about his own assets: "Look, it is extremely difficult to respond to these as if they were sensible allegations. First of all, there is no such figure, no such figure is in question. I mean, if the plot in question in İmrahor is 38 million liras, I am saying it clearly, I am ready to sell it immediately for 3.8 million, that is, at one-tenth of the price. But as a member of parliament, I am ashamed to talk about these things here, I am sad, I am sad to talk about these. Look, such things there are, in my opinion, extremely worthless. If there is anyone who offers that price, let them take it... Also, there is no need for journalists to claim these, everyone is writing them."
