Murat Emir to Akın Gürlek: You closed the door on complaints to the judiciary, so we are complaining to our people

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir reacted to Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek's response to the statements made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, saying, "Our party filed an application with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the property you acquired from the Tema Istanbul Project through the Kadıköy 34th Notary Public, with document number 36019, for which you made payments with a one-million-lira promissory note every two months; however, the file was sent to the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) and was closed there.

In other words, our questions were left unanswered. By closing the door on complaints to the judiciary, you opened the door to complaints to our people," he stated.

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir, in a statement made on his social media account by quoting Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek's response to the CHP Chairman's statements regarding his assets, noted the following:

"Our Chairman Özgür Özel made a statement with concrete information and documents.

While we were expecting a statement from you in light of the same concreteness and information, constructing long sentences does not constitute an answer.
