Murat Ongun highlights detail in second wave of operations against IMM: 'They did it on the weekend'

Murat Ongun, Chairman of the Board of IMM Medya AŞ, reacted to the second wave of operations against the IMM on his social media account. Pointing out that the weekend was specifically chosen for the operation, Ongun said, "It seems the only fear these tyrants have is 'Economy and Money Markets'."

An operation was carried out targeting Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality bureaucrats.

Detention warrants were issued for over 50 people in the operation. Among those detained are Dilek İmamoğlu's brother, Cevdet Kaya, and Gözdem Ongun, the wife of the detained IMM Medya AŞ Chairman of the Board, Murat Ongun.

Ongun reacted to the second wave of operations on his social media account. Drawing attention to the fact that the operation was carried out on a Saturday when markets are closed, Ongun used the following expressions toward the government in his social media post: "Whether it's Saturday or Monday! Everything you fear will come true."
