A striking statement has come from Murat Ongun, Chairman of the Board of IMM Medya AŞ, who was arrested as part of the operation targeting the IMM.

Sharing his thoughts regarding the allegations of a witness featured in a report by the Sabah newspaper, Murat Ongun stated the following:

"Another slanderer and lying witness has been exposed. 

The witness mentioned in Sabah's report, Orhan Cevahiroğlu, claimed that after we took office at the IMM (after 2019), he saw me meeting twice a week at a cafe and a factory in Beylikdüzü and leaving with bags of bribe money. 

According to the HTS (phone location data) records obtained by the prosecutor's office, I was never at the factory or its vicinity, and I only signaled 5 times in the vicinity of the cafe before the 2019 election."

"I WILL SETTLE ACCOUNTS ON EVERY PLATFORM"

Murat Ongun continued his words as follows:

"Just as the lies of this witness have been revealed, I leave it to the public conscience that he accused me of corruption even before we won the election. 

I will settle accounts before the law on every platform with all such witnesses, including this liar who misleads justice and commits character assassination with slanders."
