Murder in the cemetery: First beaten, then stabbed
Security guards at the Karacaahmet Cemetery in Üsküdar discovered the body of a man who had been murdered and covered with a tombstone.

In an incident that occurred yesterday at the Karacaahmet Cemetery in Üsküdar, cemetery security personnel discovered a male body covered with a tombstone while patrolling the grounds.
STABBED TO DEATH
Upon notification by the security staff, police teams arrived at the scene and determined through their investigation that the victim, identified as Kazım Yavaşçı, had been beaten and subsequently stabbed to death. Following the identification, teams from the Public Security Branch Murder Bureau and the Üsküdar Public Security Bureau launched an investigation and identified Tayfun Akdağ as the last person Yavaşçı had met with.
SENT TO PRISON
It was learned that Akdağ, who was taken into custody, stated, "We argued while talking. When he started swearing, I beat him first. Then I killed him with a knife." Akdağ, who confessed to the murder, was arrested and sent to prison.
