Murder suspect of Ayşe Tokyaz and 6 others arrested
Cemil Koç, who is alleged to have murdered university student Ayşe Tokyaz in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, has been arrested on charges of 'premeditated murder,' while 6 others were arrested for 'aiding in premeditated murder.'
Seven people who were detained in connection with the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz (22), whose body was found in a suitcase by the roadside in Eyüpsultan after being killed in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, had been referred to the courthouse.
The suspects' statements to the prosecutor's office had concluded. Cemil Koç, who is alleged to have killed the 22-year-old young woman, was referred to the Duty Magistrate's Court with a request for arrest on charges of 'premeditated murder,' while the other 6 suspects were referred on charges of 'aiding in premeditated murder.'
After their statements were taken, the murder suspect Cemil Koç was arrested by the Magistrate's Court on charges of 'premeditated murder,' and the other 6 suspects who aided the suspect were arrested on charges of 'aiding in premeditated murder' and sent to prison.
