Murder suspect with 21-year, 8-month prison sentence captured in Tekirdağ

According to the information obtained, as part of the diligent work carried out by the teams of the Muratlı District Police Department's Public Security Bureau, 32-year-old murder suspect Recep K., who had a finalized prison sentence of 21 years and 8 months for 'intentional killing' in Süleymanpaşa, was taken into custody by the teams last night at a residence where he was hiding in the Muradiye neighborhood.

The suspect, who was taken to the Cumhuriyet Police Station, was referred to the Muratlı Courthouse after his procedures were completed and he underwent a health check. Having completed his procedures at the courthouse, the suspect was arrested and delivered to the Tekirdağ T-Type Closed Penal Institution Directorate.

On the other hand, it was indicated that efforts to ensure security, public order, and the reduction and prevention of crimes, as well as the apprehension of criminals, will continue without interruption.
