Müsavat Dervişoğlu will be at Çağlayan today
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu announced in a social media post that he will go to the Çağlayan Courthouse today to protest the detention of Victory Party leader Ümit Özdağ.
An investigation was launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ for the crime of "insulting the President" following his speech in Antalya, where he stated, "No Crusade has caused as much harm to the Turkish nation as Erdoğan has."
Özdağ was detained while dining at a restaurant in Ankara as part of the investigation. He is being transferred to Istanbul by police teams.
DERVİŞOĞLU WILL BE AT ÇAĞLAYAN TODAY
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu announced that he will go to the Istanbul Çağlayan Courthouse to protest the detention of Ümit Özdağ.
In his social media post, Dervişoğlu stated, "It is our common duty to stand up against injustice, lawlessness, and unfairness. I will be at the Çağlayan Courthouse with my colleagues in the morning. Let it be our debt to unmask this tyrannical government."
