In the case opened regarding the death of little Müslüme Yağal, which Turkey discussed for days, grandfather H. Yağal was initially acquitted of the charges of "intentional killing," "qualified sexual abuse of a child," and "deprivation of liberty using force, threat, and deception for sexual purposes" against Müslüme due to insufficient evidence, but was subsequently sentenced to a total of 45 years and 12 months in prison.
