A mother and her daughter were found dead in the elevator of a building in the Kocaçeşme neighborhood of Manisa's Salihli district.

According to the report by İlker Kılıçaslan from Sözcü, a resident living in a building in the Kocaçeşme neighborhood of Manisa's Salihli district called the elevator to go to the ground floor. The resident saw their neighbors, Devrim Güler (48) and her daughter Doğa Etyemez (18), who also lived in the building, lying motionless in the elevator cabin.

Police and medical teams were called to the scene. The medical teams determined that Güler and Etyemez had lost their lives. Following the police investigation at the scene, the bodies were taken to Salihli State Hospital for autopsy.

It was reported that the investigation to determine the cause of death of the mother and daughter is ongoing.
