‘Mysterious monster’ watch in Samsun
Residents of the Şeyhulaş neighborhood in Samsun's Bafra district claim to have seen a “snake-like underground monster” in the area. Citizens have begun keeping watch with firearms due to snakes that they say pass under their homes and reach up to 5 meters in length.
An incident in Samsun has also become a topic of discussion on social media.
According to a report by the website Bafra55, the Tiryaki family, who live in the Şeyhulaş neighborhood, is in trouble due to snakes living under their house.
The family claims that they reported the situation to the municipality, fire department, gendarmerie, and nature conservation teams, but that no intervention was made because they were told the snakes were not inside the house.
Speaking to cameras, neighborhood residents used the phrase “Even the trees start to shake when it passes” to describe the “creature” they call an underground monster rather than a snake.
