Explaining the situation to those who came to pay their debts, the neighborhood shopkeepers stated that the citizens were very happy, saying, "There were those who had debts for many years. Our citizens who were not in good financial standing were struggling to pay their debts. They were very happy about this situation. They said, 'May God be pleased with this philanthropist.' We hope this sets a precedent and the number of such philanthropists increases," they said.
