Naci Görür's 'earthquake-resistant city' outcry: 'No budget allocated'
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür criticized the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Türkiye for not allocating resources for investment-related and current expenditures in the 2024 investment program, stating on his social media account, "I understand that our administrators have no intention of making this country an earthquake-resistant nation."
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür shared a message on his X social media account regarding the investment program.
"DOES MY PEOPLE HAVE SUCH A DEMAND?"
Görür stated the following in his message:
"The Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Türkiye has allocated funds from the central government budget for investment-related and current expenditures in the 2024 investment program.
It is not a subject I fully understand, but from this budget, I understand that our administrators have no intention of making this country an earthquake-resistant nation. Does my people have such a demand?"
