Prof. Dr. Naci Görür issued a warning following the 4.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Marmaris district of Muğla.
AFAD reported that a 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Marmaris district of Muğla at 12:11.
The depth of the tremor, which caused brief panic, was measured at 6.89 kilometers.

Following the earthquake, geologist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür made a notable post on his personal social media account.
Sharing a map on X, Görür stated, "A 4.4 Mw earthquake occurred in Marmaris-Orhaniye/Muğla. The earthquake is within the fault zone south of Marmaris and Orhaniye. It has been active for a long time due to the South Aegean Hellenic-Cyprus arc and the Pliny-Strabo transform fault."
