Following the 4.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Hakkari, Prof. Dr. Naci Görür issued warnings in a post on his social media account.
AFAD announced that a 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Yüksekova district of Hakkari at 07:36.
Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür shared an assessment regarding this earthquake that took place in Yüksekova.
Sharing his thoughts on social media, Görür stated the following:
“A 4.5 magnitude earthquake occurred this morning in Oğul, Hakkari. The earthquake is on the Bitlis-Zagros Thrust Zone. This zone has become very compressed following the February 6 earthquakes.”
