Nagehan Alçı makes a striking reference to Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı on live broadcast

The "alimony crisis" between journalist couple Nagehan Alçı and Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, who parted ways by mutual agreement in Istanbul in October 2023, shows no signs of ending.

Following their divorce hearing, the pair had publicly stated, "We ended it in a friendly, nice way." However, this peaceful picture did not last long. In the time that has passed, Alçı's statements regarding Kütahyalı have caused a stir on social media. Alçı had alleged that she suffered physical and psychological violence from her ex-husband.

Most recently, Alçı made a notable statement regarding the alimony issue while appearing on a live broadcast on Ekol TV. In response to the question posed to her on the program, "They don't believe you really aren't receiving alimony. I said, 'I know she hasn't received it,'" Alçı said:

"Let's not get into these things at all. We have alimony on paper too, but the law does not work for those who do not recognize the law."
