Name that joined the AKP MKYK sat at the feet of Gülen
Mustafa Özkan, who was part of the AKP delegation that traveled to Pennsylvania in 2012 and was photographed sitting at the feet of FETÖ leader Fethullah Gülen, has been included in the AKP's new MKYK list.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan determined his party's new 'A-Team' at the 8th Ordinary Grand Congress. While 39 new names joined the 75-member AKP MKYK, 36 people were left off the list.
The AKP MKYK, which underwent a 52 percent change, also included names transferred from the IYI Party and the Future Party. The most notable name on the list was Mustafa Özkan.
A photograph of Özkan visiting FETÖ leader Fethullah Gülen and posing in front of him has resurfaced.
According to a report in Sözcü, the inclusion of Mustafa Özkan, who was part of the AKP delegation that went to Pennsylvania in 2012, in the MKYK was interpreted as a surprise. A photograph of him sitting at the feet of FETÖ leader Gülen had previously appeared in the media.
