The names of the teacher and students who lost their lives in the attack on a school in Kahramanmaraş have been identified.
In the armed attack that took place at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in the Haydarbey neighborhood of the central Onikişubat district, 1 teacher and 8 students lost their lives, and 17 students were injured.
The attacker also died in the incident.
The names of those who lost their lives and were injured in the school attack have been identified.
Shielded her students
Ayla Kara, the school's mathematics teacher who shielded her students during the incident, and students Furkan Bala, Bayram Nabi Şişik, Belinay Poryaz, Zeynep Kılıç, Şuranur Sevgi Kazıcı, Kerem Erdem Gürgör, and Adnan Göktürk Yeşil lost their lives. The attacker, İsa Aras Mersinli, also died in the incident.
In the attack, Z.Ç, S.B, Y.T.G, O.T.B, Z.S.T, A.A, and A.G. were seriously injured, while M.B.E, İ.E.K, G.G, F.İ.Ç, C.E.K, Z.D.A.K, S.Ş.Ç., M.A, and M.B were injured. M.N.T, who was injured in the incident, has completed treatment and was discharged.
The treatment of the injured continues at various hospitals in the city.
