Narrow escape from disaster in Kayseri: Passenger-filled bus engulfed in flames
A public bus in motion in the Kocasinan district of Kayseri caught fire suddenly, leaving the engine compartment reduced to ashes.
According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason in the engine compartment of a private public bus while it was traveling on Kaldırım Street in the Barbaros neighborhood of the district.
"THERE WERE PASSENGERS ON THE VEHICLE"
As the flames grew, the passengers on the bus were immediately evacuated, and fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
The fire was brought under control in a short time with the intervention of the fire department teams.
"ENGINE REDUCED TO ASHES"
While there were no injuries in the fire, the engine compartment of the bus was reduced to ashes.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
