NATO Summit decision from an entertainment center in Ankara: Venue temporarily closed
Ahead of the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8, an entertainment center in Çankaya has temporarily suspended its operations.
Security measures taken ahead of the 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government in Ankara have also been reflected in city life. An entertainment center operating in Çankaya has announced that it will be closed during the summit.
The notice posted at the entrance of the establishment stated, "Due to the NATO Summit, we are closing our venue until the end of the summit to support our state. Thank you for your understanding."
Due to the summit to be held in Ankara on July 7-8, security measures have been increased at many points in the capital. While some roads have been closed to traffic, various restrictions have also been implemented as part of the summit program.
The decision taken by the entertainment center also drew attention on social media. As summit preparations continue in the city, the impact of security and transportation regulations on daily life in Ankara is being monitored.
