Nazmi Bilgin re-elected as President of the Journalists Association
Nazmi Bilgin has been re-elected as President of the Journalists Association. Bilgin secured the presidency again by receiving 403 out of 705 votes cast at the Ordinary General Assembly. The other candidate, Nursun Erel, received 295 votes, while 7 votes were declared invalid.

The Ordinary General Assembly of the Journalists Association was held at the Union of Turkish Bar Associations Litai Guest House.
A total of 705 votes were cast across 7 ballot boxes in the election, which featured a contest between incumbent President Nazmi Bilgin and candidate Nursun Erel.
Bilgin, who received 403 of the votes cast, was re-elected as president. Erel received 295 votes, and 7 votes were deemed invalid.
The new Board of Directors includes Ali Oruç, Ali Topçu, Ayhan Aydemir, Emin Özgönül, Güray Soysal, Kenan Şener, Kudret Doğandemir, Mustafa Yoldaş, Özlem Akarsu Çelik, Önder Yılmaz, Ümit Gürtuna, Yusuf Kanlı, and Zeynep Gürcanlı Ürektürk.
