Nedim Şener targets Ekrem İmamoğlu over Hagia Sophia: 'He is suffering...'
Hürriyet columnist Nedim Şener, known for his proximity to the government, targeted Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu over Hagia Sophia during a live broadcast. Şener claimed that İmamoğlu is "suffering because of the opening of Hagia Sophia."
Appearing as a guest on the Doğru Yorum with Başak Şengül program broadcast on Tv100, Hürriyet columnist Nedim Şener lashed out at Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
Targeting İmamoğlu over Hagia Sophia, Şener claimed, "The IMM provides cleaning and security services to every place except Hagia Sophia. Because İmamoğlu is suffering because of the opening of Hagia Sophia."
Stating that "the CHP was captured by imperialism from the very beginning," Şener continued his remarks as follows;
"FETÖ, the puppet of Israel and America, had the CHP captured. Their policies have changed. Kılıçdaroğlu, Özgür Özel, and İmamoğlu. They provide services to all imperial mosques (Selatin mosques). The IMM handles the maintenance and cleaning of all of them. Why does it not provide cleaning and security services only to Hagia Sophia? Because he is suffering because of the opening of Hagia Sophia. One would at least visit as a tourist."
