Negotiation message from President Erdoğan

AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan spoke at the 17th Traditional Ambassadors' Iftar Program.

Here are the highlights from Erdoğan's remarks:

The Netanyahu administration has once again shown that it does not want peace and is not in favor of a solution through the unlawful and expansionist policies it has pursued since the declaration signed on October 10. Turkey stands with the brotherly Palestinian people today, just as it did yesterday. It will continue to provide all material and moral support to the oppressed people of Gaza.

Dear friends, as of February 28, attacks against our neighbor Iran have been added to all of this. In the attacks, which have now passed their tenth day, nearly 1,500 Iranians, including over 300 innocent children, have lost their lives so far. In parallel with the missile and drone attacks originating from Iran, tensions escalated and quickly reached dimensions that threaten the stability of the entire region.

We see that both the loss of life, the destruction, and the economic cost of the crisis are increasing asymmetrically with mutual retaliations. This is a fact: Unfortunately, the picture worsens the longer the war drags on.
