Neighborly horror in Uşak! 2 people killed with a shotgun
89-year-old Mehmet I., living in Uşak, killed two of his neighbors with a shotgun. Following the incident, the murder suspect was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams.
89-year-old Mehmet I., who lives in the village of Yazıtepe, opened fire with a shotgun at his neighbors Mustafa Y. (56) and Sait G. (71), who were placing items into a parked car in front of his house.
Mehmet I. then shot Mustafa Y.'s wife, Fatma Y. (61), who had come out of the house after hearing the sound of the gunshots.

Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the village. It was determined that Fatma Y. and Sait G. had lost their lives among the wounded.
Mustafa Y., who was taken to Banaz State Hospital by ambulance, was transferred to Uşak Training and Research Hospital following initial intervention there.

TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Mehmet I. was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams.
Eyewitnesses stated that there was no hostility or dispute between the neighbors and that they could not make sense of why Mehmet I. attacked with a weapon.
