New appointment at CHP by Özgür Özel

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel has made a new appointment within his party.

Gazete Pencere Editor-in-Chief Yavuz Oğhan has become the CHP Headquarters Communication Coordinator. 

Announcing his new role on his social media account, Oğhan stated the following:

"I would like to share the news of a brand new page I am turning today in my journalism adventure that has spanned over 30 years. 

As of today, I am taking on the role of Headquarters Communication Coordinator at the Republican People's Party. 

In the next chapter of the process at Gazete Pencere, which we have nurtured with great effort over the last five years, I will be on the other side of the table.

At Gazete Pencere, İzzet Doğan, with whom I co-founded the newspaper, will continue as the Editor-in-Chief. 

It will be a source of pride for me to watch as a reader and follower as Gazete Pencere, which has become a medium recognized and followed by Turkey in a short time, continues its publication life with the same excitement and dynamism. 

My request to you is not to leave our newspaper, into which we have poured so much effort, without support. Ultimately, Gazete Pencere is entrusted to you, and CHP's communication is entrusted to me."

The appointment regarding Oğhan was also announced by the CHP Press group with the statement, "Journalist Yavuz Oğhan has been appointed to the position of Headquarters Communication Coordinator by our Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel."
