New appointments to Chief Advisor to the President: Appointed as both advisor and ambassador
According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, new appointments have been made to the position of Chief Advisor to the President.
With the decision published under the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Vedat Demiröz and Altınbaş University faculty member Prof. Dr. Çağrı Erhan were appointed as Chief Advisors to the President. Erhan was also granted the title of Ambassador.
Furthermore, according to the decision, Niğde Provincial Mufti Osman Ayas and Zonguldak Provincial Mufti Aşır Durgun were removed from their posts at the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Hüseyin Gün, the Provincial Mufti of Gümüşhane, was appointed as the Niğde Provincial Mufti; Hayri Erenay was appointed as the Gümüşhane Provincial Mufti; Muş Provincial Mufti İbrahim Halil Demir was appointed as the Zonguldak Provincial Mufti; İbrahim Yavuz was appointed as the Muş Provincial Mufti; Kadir Koçak was appointed as the Bitlis Provincial Mufti; and Orhan İmamoğlu was appointed as the Bingöl Provincial Mufti.
Zafer Demircan was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ), and Zübeyir Çalışan was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Electricity Distribution Corporation (TEDAŞ).
